So london... Didn't happen. Haha. My Girls Uncle went into Active Service, and hasn't been able to come home yet. Which is fine, as I'm getting busy down here.

Much has changed, but unless you knew me it would be impossible to list it all. Or rather, I'm just to lazy.

Mostly, what I'd say is, Things are good.

Life is, as with everyone, Difficult. But I find that I'm having a good time dealing with each new problem. And they are plentyful. I'd even say they happen on a Daily basis. New problems arise, and I do what I can to work them out. It's been rough, but I feel stronger through and through.

I guess I really only have this Live Journal for one person, whom I rarely talk to. Heh. Hard to get a hold of really. I think it's just bad timing or something. Who knows, But If you read this, drop me a line or something. Ya know Ame? It's been way too long, and I don't like to loose contact with friends if I can avoid it. So, drop me a line at:

Gallantcookie@yahoo.com

It would be muchly appreciated, if only to catch up. Ya' know?

Well that's all from me for now. Ta-ta!

I've been working on a side story, and what will probably take over something that died. It's based around a roleplay that took part in forums that I have. A Samurai Roleplay. I really liked the story and things I had planned, but as they usually do over time, people could not make it to the forum and it eventually died. Not to say that it cannot continue, but I doubt it will. But, I digress. In the likely event that it doesn't continue, I can continue it in a written story, and finish it myself. I've gotten a short amount done, it isn't much and it could be better, but I wanna throw it up here and see what ya'll think about it so far. Don't mind the sentance structure and all that. It's in the prestages of writing, so all my ideas wont be fully finished, but I like it so far, personally.

Again, just lemme know what you think about what I have so far. Thanks ^ ^

--------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------

"This really is hard work." Spoke a young man, perhaps in his twenties. "I never thought farming was so difficult!" He stated, wiping sweat from his brow. A young girl
to his side giggled as she watched him "Did you think it would be easy?" The man shook his head "Well no, but-" He gazed down to his blistered and scarred hands "Nothing is easy." The girl's smile slowly faded, but quickly returned "Lets take a break for lunch, I'll help mother fix food." The man bowed and Smiled "Thank you, that sounds nice, Chiyoko." Chiyoko returned the bow and quickly ran into her home. The man sat against a tree, hiding from the sun. A small sigh escaped his lips
as he look up to the bright blue sky. "What happened... to me?"
The Man remembered little of his past, remembering only small bits. He knew that he was a samurai, the family that cared for him and brought his life back when he was so near to death, gave him his sword and notes that were not destroyed. He, by all rights should have died. He didn't know how he'd gotten here, or what happened to cause him to brush with death. He wanted so badly to remember, but no matter how hard he tried, He could not. It aggravated him, so much so that he decided no longer to try and remember it. Although he could remember one thing, and he was glad for it. His name.... "Tobayashi, Food is ready!"
Every day was the same for Tobayashi, and he was happy for it. He would wake early in the morning, long before the sun rose, and beginning to prepare
for a long day's work. He would till the fields, feed the livestock, pick any sort of food that was ripe and ready, till the rice fields, and other such things He was really the only capable person in this little home. The two parents whom nursed him to health were old and frail. Their bodies could not stand working in the sun anymore, and the young girl Chiyoko was all they had. She pulled her weight, but with out him, they would not have survived this upcoming winter. Tobayashi certainly couldn't leave them without a clean conscience. He had to help them, even if it was back breaking work. It was a good way to keep him in shape and perhaps even increase his strength and stamina. That was certainly not something to complain about.
And yet, even as he felt at home and happy with these people, something nagged at the back of his mind. Something that said this time would be short, that soon he'd have to leave them. And some how, he knew they all knew this too. Although Chiyoko would not let him leave all to easily. She had grown very attached to him, and more than likely had feelings for him. To be honest, if whatever it was calling to him wasn't calling to him, he wouldn't have minded staying here and marrying her. But then, there was something else. A name that he couldn't remember. A woman. But he didn't know who or why it called out to him so strongly. That would be something else he'd have to find out soon. But for now, until he knew it would be okay to leave them, he would continue this labor. Making sure they would have the food and items to keep them alive for the winter, and perhaps longer.
It had been nearly a month since he'd been with these people, a month of work that he
would be lying to say that he would miss it. It was peaceful here, even if he couldn’t remember what had happened to him, it was obvious that it was not a happy life like the one here.
“When will you leave?” Asked the Old Woman named Yuki.
“I plan to leave very soon. Perhaps by the fall of the next sun.” Tobayashi replied.
“Will you leave before the sun rises? Before Chiyoko wakes... I feel it would be best if you were not here when she wakes... It will be less difficult for her..” The old man, Gene, said softly as to no be heard by Chiyoko whom slept in the next room. Tobayashi hadn’t thought of this, perhaps it would be best to spend the rest of the day with her, not to work, perhaps take her to town for the afternoon. They hadn’t done that in quite some time. He sigh softly and nodded in response. Tobayashi nearly regretted leaving, but he had to.
The next morning, the sun rose as it did every other day. Clouds seem to rest on the horizon that told Tobayashi rain would be coming shortly, which would slow his traveling down, but certainly not stop him. Today did not start with work, but rather with Tobayashi sleeping in. He wanted some rest for the fact he would not get any the following day. After awakening, he stare at the ceiling silently, thoughts racing through his head. Did he really want to go back? Was this face that rested calmly in his mind worth going back? Was, whoever it was, still alive? Would she recognize him? Would he... Recognize her? He brought a hand to his face and gently rub his temples as his mind race with questions. Was if fair to leave these people behind? His thoughts were interrupted as Chiyoko slid the door to his room open. “Tobayashi, are you awake?” She questioned softly, almost a whisper. “Yes, I am Chiyoko. Would you like to leave for the city today? Perhaps find something to prepare for supper?” Chiyoko jumped to her feet, clapping her hands together in excitement. “Yes! I would love to!”
The afternoon pass as Tobayashi expected. They stop by every shop that caught the eye of Chiyoko, and she would drag him over pointing at various items, explain how she really wanted it, and would be distracted by something else. It was very confusing for him, but he did his best to listen to her ramble on about items that she absolutely loved. However, she found something she did not take her eyes off of. For a while, she was silent, as her eyes went over the item dozens of times. It was a red kimono, illustration of cherry blossom leaves strewn about the kimono. It really was beautiful. “If I had one wish, I would make it to have this Kimono.” She said absentmindedly. Tobayashi look down to her “Oh, is that so?” She slowly took her eyes from it to look up at him “Well, yes, but it is far to pretty for someone like me.” She stated with a smile “But I can always dream, can’t I?” Tobayashi frowned at how easily she had said this, but he could not respond as she drag him away to, explaining that they needed to get the food and head home.
Entering the market, the smell of salt and fish hung heavily in the store. “Hello!” Said an young man “Welcome! How can I help you?” This man was a bit to young to be working in a store like this, and even if he did, one of his parents should have been here. But there was something about him that he didn’t like, even over the smell of fish he could smell a very familiar smell... Blood. Tobayashi pointed to a large fish, his eyes never leaving the man “Let me have that there.” The clerk look over his shoulder to the fish and smile happily “Oh, that’s a wise buy sir, that is very fresh and a very delicious tasting fish! That will be Three hundred Mon.” Tobayashi handed over the coins, and placed the fish in a straw sack. “Thank you very much sir!” The clerk said happily, but Tobayashi noticed this mans fingers seemed to twitch, as if he wanted oh so bad to grab something that was hidden from sight. Tobayashi gave a slight bow and left the store, feeling a cold stare at his back.
The sun set faster than he would have liked, but there was little he could do to control it. Cooking the fish did not take long, and they were feasting on the meat before long. It was well worth the Mon used to pay for the meal. And all to soon, it came the time to leave. No words were spoken between the Yuki and Gene, but he knew that they did this for one reason. They knew that they would try to get him to stay, and they both knew leaving was something he’d have to do. Waiting until the pair of them left to their room, he turn and open his own room door. Walking across the small room, he knelt down and took hold of the floor panel. With a sharp pull, he lifted a square up. Beneath it, hidden from view was a sword. His Katana. Tying it to his side, he made his way quietly out of the house, closing the door behind him. As he made his way up the road, he look back one last time to the home he’d grown to love. In the back of his mind, he knew he’d never see it again. No matter how much he wanted to, leaving this place sealed his fate, an he knew it.
Chiyoko would awake the next morning, going to his room, only to find a note and the kimono that she had seen the day before. Tears welled at the corners of her eyes as she held the Kimono in one hand and the note in the other. “Dear Chiyoko.” The note read “I must leave you without the goodbye I would like to have given you. Know that I will not forget you, and if fate permits it, I will return to you someday. However, I would not ask you to wait, only to live. I know your strength will carry you to great things...” She quickly broke down in tears, pressing the note against her chest as she fell to her knees, crying softly, her head pressed against a wall. Tobayashi would have rather seen her cry and beg him to stay, than to have left as he did. But he respected Gene and Yuki, and respected their wishes.
Tobayashi walk slowly down the dark road, knowing quickly that he was not alone, however did not draw attention to the fact that he knew. However, it wasn’t long until his stalker made himself known. Thirty Feet ahead stood a man, holding two smaller blades, each held in a reverse fashion. “I’ve been waiting for you.. Tobayashi.” He spoke in a soft, but audible voice. “We thought you were dead.. And then you show up in town a few months back. Nobody believed it, so they sent me... And then you came into that store.. I was about to return and say the sighting were either false or you have moved on. Lucky me.” Tobayashi was able to make out a very toothy grin. “Who are you? Why are you after me?” Tobayashi demanded.
“We are those that you had fought against. Those that nearly killed your clan once before. Those that have hunted people like you, wiping them out, one by one.”
“Why!?”
“Because your scum. Samurai. You choose to try and live life that is no longer needed, and fight against the government. Pitiful.”
“So, then I assume you are responsible for my lack of memory, for the reason I fell.”
“Well, not me so much as an old friend of yours. Although he is not longer part of the living. Died like a coward, or so his men say. They watched you fall, disappear into the treetops.”
“What happened? How did I fall?”
“He killed himself by setting off an explosive device when he realized he could not beat you, and you were flung over the edge as a result. Foolish on his part, as it did not kill you.”
“What about the others? I know that I was with more...”
“We’re hunting them down as you and I speak. We WILL find them, and then..” He trailed off slowly, flicking his blade to the side. “It took me some time to find out where you’d gone. That family that helped you, oh so sweet of them. However, when I kill you, I’ll kill the parents and force that girl into a life of servitude as a whore.”
“You will do no such thing.” Tobayashi drew his blade from his sheath and held it before him. “I will make sure of it.” And with that the two of them charge.
The forest was dead quiet. Nothing made sound, no animals stirred in the treetops, nor anywhere in the forest itself. The only thing that broke the silence was the chilling clang of steel on steel. Tobayashi and his enemy only clash once, both on opposite sides, both facing away from one another. Slowly, Tobayashi returned his blade to its sheath and began to walk away. Behind him, his enemy began to laugh as the blade fell from his hands. The laugh was odd, one that sounded like he hadn’t expected this so quickly. One that sounded like he’d seen something ironic and found humor in it. However his laugh changed into a choking gurgle, then to silence as his head slowly fell from its neck, followed by the body toppling over into the brush with a dull thump. The difference of skill between the two was obvious long before they every clash, and Tobayashi wonder if the other knew.
Night changed to day, as it normally does, and Tobayashi continue to walk. There was little reason for him to stop. He knew that family would be safe, they had nothing that those that hunted him could use against him, if they even knew of them. It had also begun to rain, although he had to admit that he was glad it had done so in the morning rather than during the night. Tobayashi had no idea where it was that he was going, but somehow his feet managed to lead the way, as if they remember where it was that he needed to go. However, even as he knew not where he needed to go, he somehow knew that it would not be a short, few day long, journey. However, he looked forward to it. It wasn’t often he travel on his own, although he didn’t know how he knew that, and was enjoying it at present. It gave him time to think, In hopes of remembering what it was that he could not remember. Remember what that man had told him, remember why they were hunting the Samurai. Looking around, to his eyes, the world still needed people like him. People that would fight to protect the innocent without second thought. Looking at the people in the town around them, how the Magistrates used and abused their powers, beating people for giving them a look they felt was threatening or out of disgust.
Tobayashi quickly found that swords were illegal to carry now, although he did not learn first hand. A Ronin was stripped of his blade and beheaded in broad daylight. Apparently they had told him he could not have a sword, he refused to give it up, and was killed for it. Tobayashi made a mental note that it would be best to avoid Magistrates in the future, while he could kill them without problem, he would prefer not avoid being noticed as much as possible. If people were after him, that lead him to the conclusion that there would be more, and it was obvious they knew what he looked like. A slight aggravation, but it meant that he would have to be more careful in the future to help avoid situations like the night before, and perhaps ones much worse.
So he continue on, throughout the day, without halt. Making it through a bustling city and a smaller town before mid-afternoon. The progress he was making so far, he felt, was very good. Not only that, but he had much more day left before night did not allow him to press any further.
---
---
---

I guess I'm going to London in april. It's not a 'It may or may not happen' I am going. I guess my girlfriend's uncle is in the military up there and owns a house, five cars... Well, he's got some money behind him. He wants ta' meet me, and therfore is going to fly us down there in april. So, hey, that's cool. He seems like a cool guy..
-
-
I'm working on some short films and stuff with me and my friends.... Although to get them onto the computer, I need a video transfer thing-a-ma-bob. It's VHS, which think is better than digital. The picture and sound are easier to edit as well as I feel the sound is cleaner. I'm working in the Tansfer thing, as I need to get it onto a computer to edit it... Neh... Dunno how I'll do that...

    <lj:music>Gorillaz - Hong Kong</lj:music>

Yay! I found my long lost "Gorillaz : Demon Days, Live from Manchester" I really love that performance. One of the best yet. And to think that I was /supposed/ to have gone for my birthday. One of the nights they played on November the 3rd. I found out about that like... nearly half a year in advance, and was ready to get the tickets when I found out that no one else wanted/could/felt like going. COME ON PEOPLE! Oh well, that's old news, innit?

I got free food today! I like to think that free food is better than paid for food. Went to this 'Mac Tools Convention'. It was a small thing that happened outside my friends shop... We went.. Got free burgers and sodas (I stole an arse load) and I entered a few contests. One was to win a $35,000 orange county chopper bike.. Which I would sell off the bat! I don't need nor want a Chopper, but I do want the mulah.. And I entered to win a $5,000 tool box, which I would also...sell... heehee..

But the odds of me winning? Low to none. But hey! I can dream can't I?!?!

I'm starving myself again.. but not like intentionally... I've got no food about the place and I'm not about to go n' get some. I went nearly a week without eating some months ago back.. man was that a bad Idea.. I just needed to save my money, and rather than buying some ramen, I went without food. BUT! I got some free foodz today, so I'm happy. I didn't eat much.. but that would have to do with my shortened hungry. Keekeekee. I'll buy ramen in a coupla' days.

What else could I go on about saying?

Erm...

I got nothing.. So I'm gettin' the hell outta here for now. Laters!

    <lj:music>I'm an Asshole - Denis Leary</lj:music>

So, I'm finally going to make a decent post! Yay!

Well, today all I really did was watch the death note. I've been reading the manga and I'm loving it. It's by far one of my favorites, if not for the reason that it's so damn clever and smart! But I recently found out there's a anime of it(call me slow), and It is just about dead on with the Manga. It's not often that happens.. I'm talking to you Trigun, fushigi yugi, Samurai Deeper Kyo, Love Hina, and so many more that I don't feel like nameing off. I've also begun to watch the live action movie of the Death Note, nothing like the manga, but still good.

I'm also catching up on most of the Anime's that I lost track with. Youtube.com is a wonderful place.. I love it there...

I'm also into some flash design.. I'm in the works of a Flash Movie.. Ya' know, like the stuff you see on Newgrounds.com... If, and when I finish it, I'll let ya'll know. My friends and I are also working on some live action skits and shorts that we'll probably release on youtube or a website that will probably be worked on in the near future. The Chocolate bunnies of Doom. That's who we be. Watch out for us.. What would I call us? We're almost Jackass...ish... but not to that extent. We pull pranks, mess around, and all around have fun..

For instance, for one of our to be released videos.. My buddy puts on this yoda mask. We, luckily, know the security at the mall near my home.. so it's all good.. but anyway, We walk around and kinda... mess with people.. You have no idea how nice people are to you when your wearing a Yoda mask.. They'll want to take pictures, hug you, crazy stuff. But one point this guy pushing some religion (We never bothered to find out) Comes up to Yoda and asks him about religion.. I mean come on... Why would you come to a guy wearing a yoda mask to push religion.. so he was asking to be messed with.. at the end of it all, I swear the guy was ready to beat the crap outta yoda! CLASSIC!

Well, that's about all for now.. I'll be back with more! Laters!
